Rapid Setting Cement - Rapidcas N20

High-Performance Rapid Setting Cement for Heavy-Duty Industrial Applications

Vitcas® Rapidcas N20 - Rapid Setting Cement is a specially formulated, high-strength sand/cement mix developed for demanding industrial, civil engineering, and utility reinstatement projects. It is easy to mix, trowel, and apply, and sets hard in approximately 60 minutes, allowing for rapid progress on-site.
Designed for use in arduous and time-sensitive conditions, Rapidcas N20 Rapid Set Cement offers exceptional compressive strength and can be opened to traffic within just 2 hours. This makes it ideal for high-traffic zones, production areas, and infrastructure repair where minimising downtime is critical. The product exhibits excellent adhesion, particularly when used with a polymer primer, which can also be added as a 10% replacement for mixing water to further enhance strength and bonding.

Rapid Setting Cement N20 complies with the Department of Transport (DOT) specification for Roads and Bridges HD 27/94, Volume 7, Section 2. This directive states that mortars used for bedding ironwork, such as manhole cover frames, must achieve a compressive strength of 20 N/mm² before being subjected to traffic. For rapid construction and repair work, this strength should be attained within 2 hours, a performance benchmark that Rapidcas N20 is engineered to meet.
