Heat Resistant Sewing Threads for Protective Textiles
High-performance, heat resistant sewing threads engineered for use in the fabrication of thermal protection garments, insulated covers, and industrial-grade safety equipment. These specialist threads are suitable for stitching materials exposed to high temperatures, making them ideal for manufacturing protective clothing, gloves, welding blankets, and other high-temperature textile assemblies.
Vitcas sewing threads are designed to maintain strength and integrity in extreme environments, offering excellent resistance to heat, abrasion, and chemical exposure. Vitcas offers two specialist thread types to suit different temperature ranges and material compatibility.
Heat Resistant Threads:
- Glass Fibre PTFE Coated Sewing Thread - Combines the strength and flexibility of glass fibre with the low-friction, chemical-resistant properties of a PTFE coating. Ideal for stitching fibreglass fabrics and other high-temperature insulation materials.
- Silica Sewing Thread - Offers superior thermal performance with high silica content, capable of withstanding even higher continuous temperatures. Suitable for extreme heat applications and advanced thermal protection gear.
