High Temperature Rope
Rope Gaskets for Reliable Sealing in High-Temperature Applications
Vitcas high temperature ropes are manufactured from high-grade glass fibre yarn, offering excellent resistance to heat, abrasion, and thermal shock. Suitable for continuous use at temperatures up to 550°C (1020°F), these heat resistant ropes provide long-lasting performance in both domestic and industrial heating systems.
High temperature ropes are designed for use as gaskets in a wide range of applications, including stoves, chimneys, boilers, and heating systems. The heat resistant ropes are available in two types, each offering different levels of flexibility: the braided rope is stronger and more rigid, while the knitted rope is softer and more flexible, making it ideal for uneven sealing surfaces. Both types are offered in a variety of diameters and come in black or white to suit different installation requirements.
