Fire boards
Fireboards are used for new constructions or for the installation of cassette stoves where there is no existing chimney breast. Certain fire resistant boards are made for construction where proper insulation is required(as dry lining), whereas others are utilised in order to store and redistribute the heat. Fireboards manufactured by Vitcas provide efficient fire protection have high-temperature resistance (up to 1100°C) with high mechanical stability. They do not contain gypsum and asbestos. They are not toxic and do not threaten the natural environment.
Fire Board - applications
Fire-resistant boards are perfect both as a construction and insulation material and fireboards with pattern can be used as a decorative cover for fireplaces and stoves. They also can act as wall lining, or insulation core in industrial range. Fireproof boards are lightweight and can be processed with traditional wood tools. They can be cut, drilled and ground, which greatly facilitates the construction process. Click here to see our instructions on how to install fireboards.Types and Uses of Fireboards
-
Insulation Fire boards: Certain fire-resistant boards are specifically made to provide proper insulation. These boards are crucial in preventing heat transfer, thereby maintaining desired temperatures within a space and enhancing energy efficiency.
-
Heat Storing and Redistributing Fireboards: Other fireboards are engineered to store and redistribute heat efficiently. These boards help in maintaining consistent temperatures and can improve the overall heating efficiency of a stove or fireplace.
Fire Boards can be used for Domestic, commercial, and industrial applications.
