Low cement refractory castable
VITCAST 1400LCC-AL
A bauxite-based low cement castable specifically developed for use in contact with molten aluminium. Formulated with a non-wetting additive that significantly reduces aluminium penetration and effectively inhibits corundum formation, ensuring extended service life in non-ferrous metal applications.
Examples of Applications: Ideal for aluminium holding furnaces, transfer launders, troughs, and other areas exposed to molten aluminium where non-wetting performance and resistance to chemical attack are critical.

VITCAST 1400LCC
A versatile low cement castable designed for general-purpose high-temperature applications, particularly suited for pre-cast shapes as an alternative to special-shaped firebricks. Offers excellent strength, low porosity, and good thermal shock resistance.
Examples of Applications:Commonly used for pre-cast interlocking tiles in boilers and periphery blocks on kiln car bases, where precision and durability are required.

Examples of Applications: Used for burner quarls, ladle linings, top ring blocks on open-top brick-lined vessels, upper side walls in aluminium melting furnaces, and for pre-cast components such as tiles and periphery blocks.
