Acid Resistant Bricks
Vitcas® Acid Resistant Bricks are fireclay-based ceramic bricks engineered for use in environments exposed to chemical attack, abrasion, and moderate thermal loads. They are suitable for installation in chimneys, industrial floors, process pits, and vessel linings. Manufactured with low porosity, high compressive strength, and excellent chemical resistance, these bricks offer long service life and cost-effective protection in harsh industrial conditions. For optimal performance, they should be installed using Vitcas® Acidcas mortar, forming a durable, acid-resistant lining. Vitcas Acid Resistant Bricks are resistant to all mineral acids, with the exception of hydrofluoric acid, and can withstand service temperatures up to 400°C (752°F).
