High alumina ramming mixes
ALURAM SW & 80
High alumina, semi-dry refractory ramming mixes supplied with a moisture content of approximately 3%. Designed for installation using pneumatic ramming or vibration techniques, though they can also be hand rammed. The low moisture content allows for the development of a very dense, low-shrinkage lining, ideal for high-temperature and high-load applications.
Examples of Applications: Used in steelworks as nozzle rams in teeming ladles and launders, and as a safety lining at the bottom of ladles, installed behind refractory bricks.
Industrial Sectors: Commonly used in the steel and metallurgical industries, as well as in foundries and non-ferrous metal processing where reliable, dense, high-alumina linings are required.
