Zircon Coil Plaster Castable - High-Temperature Protection for Induction Furnace Coils

Vitcas® Zircon Coil Plaster Castable is a hydraulic-setting refractory plaster, supplied as a dry powder. Once mixed with water to a trowellable consistency, it forms a durable, high-temperature coating designed to protect the electric coils of induction furnaces from molten metal penetration and thermal damage.
Formulated with zirconium silicate (ZrSiO₄), this coil plaster provides excellent resistance to slag and metal attack, while also acting as a thermal barrier to prevent the induction coils from overheating. It ensures extended service life of the furnace coils and improves operational safety.
In addition to coil protection, Vitcas® Zircon Coil Plaster can also be used as a high-performance refractory castable in applications demanding resistance up to 1750°C (3180°F).
