Vitcas Central Heating Boiler Noise Silencer is a high-performance, non-acidic descaling solution specifically engineered to eliminate kettling and internal boiler noise caused by baked-on sludge, limescale, and magnetite deposits. Unlike traditional products, this advanced silencer remains in the system permanently, offering continuous protection without the need for flushing or draining.
Formulated for use in fully indirect central heating systems, the silencer is compatible with plastic tanks, microbore pipework, and all metals typically found in heating installations - including aluminium, steel, copper, and brass. It is ideal for both routine maintenance and targeted noise reduction in existing systems suffering from reduced flow and thermal inefficiency.
Reduces kettling and restores thermal performance
Vitcas Boiler Noise Silencer works by chemically softening and dispersing compacted mineral scale and oxidised sludge layers inside the heat exchanger. These contaminants typically form insulating layers, creating localised hotspots that cause kettling and energy loss. By breaking down these deposits and keeping them in suspension, the silencer restores laminar flow and improves the overall heat transfer rate - resulting in quieter operation and extended boiler lifespan.

Application instructions:
- Switch off the boiler and allow system to cool
- Shake container thoroughly before use
- Introduce silencer into the system via a filling loop, radiator, or dosing pot
- Re-pressurise and circulate under normal operating conditions
- Leave the product in the system - no flushing required
