Ceramic fibre blanket

ceramic fibre blanket

Ceramic blanket is composed of long, flexible, interwoven fibres manufactured by the 'blown' and 'spun' process yielding a strong, lightweight yet durable fiber blanket for applications in a temperature range from 1260oC to 1600oC. Refractory ceramic fibre blanket has the heat resistance of a hard refractory with five times better insulation value.

Key Features:

  • Low thermal conductivity
  • Very low heat storage
  • Very high tensile strength
  • Thermal shock resistance
  • Sound absorption
  • Quick repairs
  • Contains no binder, fumes or atmosphere contamination
  • Contains no asbestos
  • No curing or drying cycle required
